Hi guys, I've got a 1.4L Corsa and I'm trying to find a new clutch for it.

When I looked up the engine online, it says it's a B14XEL, but my car's paperwork says it's a B14XER. I think someone might have swapped the engine.

I can find clutches for the XEL, but not many for the XER. Will a clutch for the XEL work in my car?

I couldn’t find a clear answer to your question, but the B14XEL and B14XER engines are pretty closely related. They might have some small differences that could affect part compatibility, like the clutch kit. While it’s common for similar engine variants to share parts, it’s always best to double-check with a parts supplier or mechanic just to be sure.

Yep, I’d agree with Rayne. The difference might be minor, but it’s definitely worth confirming. Sometimes even small variations can make a big difference when it comes to things like clutches. If you're unsure, maybe ask the supplier if the XEL clutch is listed as compatible with the XER variant.
