Excessive rust on 2016 Corsa

I’m a bit worried about the amount of rust popping up on my 2016 Corsa. Had to replace the whole exhaust system thanks to corrosion, and the rear brake drums were pretty much buried in rust. Is this kind of rust normal for a car this old, or am I dealing with something way worse? Is there anything I can do to prevent further corrosion?

I think our cars are mostly affected in winters because of the salt on the roads. Though, how old is your car? How many miles on it?

Yeah, that makes sense with the salt and everything. My Corsa's got about 65k miles on it, so it's not crazy high, but still getting up there. I know rust can be a thing as cars age, but I’m just hoping I’m not about to see the whole thing fall apart! Any tips for keeping it in better shape moving forward?
