Corsa is a good car to start with

Ok, the Corsa get way too much hate. Why though? it is cheap, easy to drive, parts are affordable. In my opinion, it is a good car to start with.

Do you think the hate comes from unrealistic expectations, or is it just because people overlook practical, affordable cars in favor of flashier options?
