Hello guys, Just got this strange message after charging my Corsa. It displays the message "Electric traction system fault: Repair needed" . Fortunately, I made it home safely, but should I drive it again or call a tow truck? Maybe I'll try to reset the car later and see if that works.

I just had this error message today, I had no choice but to contact someone who could service my vehicle. I was just prioritizing my safety rather than complaining about the expenses. Everything was back to normal after the repair and reset that they did on my vehicle.

I was really disappointed with Vauxhall's service. I took my car in to the dealership hoping they could fix the issue, but after two weeks they hadn't made any progress.

I didn't have a choice so I got my car back and took it to my trusted mechanic. He found out that the 12V battery wasn't delivering enough power for the sensors to function properly. So basically the battery was replaced. After that, the issue was gone.

I've been having a similar issue with my car. Good to come across this post.

Have you tried charging the 12V battery recently? I know it sounds like a long shot, but it's worth a try. I've also read about disconnecting the battery, but I'm not sure if it's a permanent fix. I had a similar problem after using a PodPoint that was broken. My car was fine until I hit 60mph, and then I got a bunch of warning lights. I disconnected the 12V battery, waited a bit, and it seemed to work. Just a heads up, there's a recall out for firmware updates, so make sure to get that done as soon as you can.
